Two is Enough

My sister is in town from her home in Germany. Mayhem ensues.

So, many of you have been wondering where I've been the last couple weeks (okay, maybe one or two of you)... honestly, it's just been BUSY around these parts. Between summer strep-throat and cramming as much as possible into these last two weeks of summer, I haven't had much time for blogging. We decided this year, instead of spending the cash and taking a vacation, we would simply take that week of vacation time and do things around the house and enjoy our local attractions. We had a "stay-cation"! I can't take all the credit for this idea, as Jewels and Mason did this in 2010, but we had a great time!

We visited the Circle G Ranch and Petting Zoo in Kodak on Tuesday. The whole experience can best be summed up in the following photo:

Z and I celebrated our 9th anniversary on Thursday, so after securing sitters, we went to Six Flags over Georgia. I dont have any pictures, really, from that trip. Just know that we had a great time.

So, now it's back to the real world. I go back to school next week, and Pirate starts kindergarten the following week. I'm beginning to stress a little.
